Owned by long-time member Matt Lazarski since 2011, the business is also effectively the headquarters of WILMA (the Wisconsin League of Musky Anglers), a weekly league that fishes from Lake Wausau down to Petenwell Flowage, founded by Matt in 2008.
The best little liquor store in the world features an extensive selection of whiskey (Matt is a bourbon drinker), besides craft beers, wines and other liquors. Recent opportunity has allowed Matt to take over the adjacent storefront, doubling the size of the store while staying in the same location! Matt intends to take full advantage of the new space by expanding inventory, and adding a small tasting bar.
Now here’s the big news: The Bottle Stop will now be carrying fishing gear! Matt takes his fishing seriously, so you can bet he’ll do this right. Obviously it is not their main business so the stock will be limited, but they will feature premium brands such as Kraemer Custom Rods, Shimano reels, Stealth Tackle leaders, Simms clothing, and custom painted Rapalas!
